Pavlov, Ivan Petrovich (1849-1936)

Russian psychologist. Precursor of the reflexology, branch of the psychology that investigates the indispensable biological conditions for the observation of the psychic phenomena. Discover the conditioned reflexes of animals, through experiments with dogs, from which he tries to infer conclusions about the human mind. Pavlov’s work on physiology is worth the Nobel Prize in Medicine in 1904.
