Artificial Intelligence and applications in Medicine

The future looks much more consoling with the application of Artificial Intelligence in medicine.

Artificial Intelligence has its advantages when using this technology in medicine, because it allows improving the control and monitoring of chronic patients.

Likewise, this technology through electronic devices reduces the workload of medical specialists and researchers.

In the same way, it contributes to reducing research times for the development of new drugs and the treatment of certain diseases.

Artificial Intelligence has a special importance in medicine because it allows the processing and analysis of medical data to improve hospital management.

Likewise, Machine Learning is used to improve these machine capabilities.

Artificial intelligence in the health field requires a greater presence of robotic assistance in medical spaces such as:

  1. Medical and image analysis that facilitates the analysis of different medical tests with greater precision and speed.
  2. Medical diagnoses by analyzing data to make safe diagnoses
  3. Surgery, however, still requires the presence of the human being.
  4. Pharmacological treatments that allow advantages to analyze genetic sequences to find vaccines or possible solutions for different technologies.
  5. Genetics, allows the discovery of rare diseases and genetic disorders.
  6. Pregnancies, help with safer controls and exclude invasive techniques to identify malformations.
  7. Prostheses are intelligent and repeat the movement patterns of the person who uses them.
  8. Smart prostheses refer to mechanical appendages that not only replace a part of the body, but also repeat the person’s movement patterns.

Consequently, digital systems allow, based on information selected from various sources, recommendations and suggestions to doctors and students, improving decisions in the treatment of patients.

In the same way, telemedicine makes it possible to offer medical care from a distance. And more and more patients are using virtual consultations.

Artificial intelligence models are new resources for doctors and are changing the shape of medical care and healthcare.
