These types of situations are worked hand in hand between the psychologist and the speech therapist. It is done through the technique of roll playing and providing the patient with strategies through social skills. It begins in the beginning in individual sessions, and when it is considered and observed that the patient is prepared, it will be passed to small group sessions with similar characteristics.
Do not work every day the same situation, but you must alternate the type of sessions, to prevent Miguel from refusing to return to speech therapy sessions, as it is not attractive or fun.
